China to bring in sweeping ban on CBD splendor

THE DETAILS The country’s National Institutes for Food and Drug Control will are seeking to limit the sale of products containing beauty’s most up-to-date ingredient, CBD, Cannabis sativa kernel fruit, Cannabis sativa seed oil, and Cannabis sativa leaf.

THE WHY? While CBD beauty is trending within the west, in Asia, its sale is largely managed. This contemporary move is in line with China’s class of marijuana as a risky narcotic, even though it would appear at odds with its repute as one of the global’s largest hemp producers, in keeping with Jing Daily.
